But the swaps were too much fun!
For one, the theme was "spring." I sent a box of springy, flowery, pink and blue goodies--some handmade and some vintage.
For the second swap, the theme was "Marie Antoinette: Let them Eat Cake!"
I wish I had had more time and felt better when creating the box for this swap; after seeing what other swap members have made, I'm feeling that my box was a bit "un frou-frou"! But I still had fun making it. Plus, I decorated the top of the box with a giant glittery MA, and my swap partner's name? Mary Ann! (Mary Ann--if you're reading this: STOP! I've posted a spoiler pic below of the goodies inside the box!)
I filled this box with so many goodies with a French toile theme. I LOVE toile, so I went to town making tags, a pincusion, and a rose pin, among other things.
So now that they'e done, what's next?
Oh, yeah.
Now I have to CLEAN MY ROOM! When I started, there was a table in here somewhere.
I seriously don't know where to start.
Puts a whole new spin on the term "spring cleaning," doesn't it?

OMG, you and me both... plus now I also feel guilty for neglecting my blog for A WHOLE MONTH! :P
Plus MILs serger is on the kitchen table downstairs and I have been receiving "pointed looks" from DH, ha!
Arg! I have the same thing some...oh who am I kidding, all the time! That's what you get for being so creative!
Wow, I love the pretties inside your box. Your box is just lovely. Mary Ann will love it!
I'm a huge toile junkie.
Our kitchen counter looks like a fabric store barfed all over it at the moment. ;)
LMBO!!! What a mess girl, but that means you have been creative and having fun :)
Ooohhh I wish I'd been your swap partner...she's going to be very happy with this!!
And seeing your work area -- mine isn't far off that -- my oldest just came home for the summer from Uni and his room has been my "studio" -- so now we're sharing and it's a double mess. I've got to get in there this week and fix it!!
